    Are you geared and is your party not being idiots? If those are both the case you should NEVER die to WotL. As far as I've seen every AoE in the game has a timer on it and if you miss the timer you take the hit out of it or not this isn't going to change unless they completely remove AoEs. To move on to my point I took me 5 days but I dropped Titan on a SCH in full DL minus 1 piece and my Ifrit weapon I ate plenty of WotLs from misisng timers but they NEVER killed me unless some idiot stacked them or trapped me in a stack (left me at around 1440 easy heal). Your party should have a relative idea of the rotation so you should ALWAYS scatter our for WotL so the plumes don't stack than no one dies and if you don't know the rotation so well stay spread out in general if its not stomp or the circle bombs. Don't call it game breaking just because you haven't figured out how to work around it.

    This thread is not just about Titan. It is the overall latency issues throughout the whole game. Delayed actions, delayed positional checks, spell interrupts / not interrupting when moving etc...

    Too many people seem to think the issue starts and finishes with Titan. I can tell you that there are far more scary AoE's in Coil (especially turn 2) where this is a big issue. That is beside the point - the point is the overall latency/poor netcode between server>client.

    This will become especially evident once PvP hits.. I truly can't wait to see how terribad it is when it comes in patch 2.1 if this remains unresolved.

    By Timer you mean the cast bar of the skill then?

    Probably I'm a healer so usually not locked on the boss to see exactly what's going on when it's casting skills. But if you want to put it that way than yes if the skill has a casting bar and yes I'm aware not all of them show one than if you miss that bar the aoe hits you out of it or not. Like I said to me it makes sense I mean if they were instant you obviously wouldn't be able to dodge and if you miss the cast bar to me that means you can't expect it to still miss so seems like working as intended to me though no one else seems to agree

    Got hit both times. I'm 100% sure the blue line is the edge of the aoe Since I already tested it while building LB on Titan Hardmode before, Stood at the line and I didn't get hit :/

    Even if it's just for testing purposes that's cutting the timer WAY to close I would still expect to be hit by that especially since LS should be easiest to dodge if you move as soon as it starts it has like the longest cast of all of titans skills but that just my opinion apparently my views on the game are kinda far from the majorities lol

    that's the issue right there, the server still think you are standing still while you already moved on your screen, your position only gets update later. If so you happen to be within landslide's range you would have been knocked over due to positional not being updated.

    it doesn't matter if you have a 3 or 4 second AOE window, if what's showing on screen isn't reliable/accurate you'll always get hit.

    I've mobile healed out of AoEs quite a lot and still missed em so it did update the position and if the timer was unreliable and inaccurate you'd NEVER dodge an AoE

    I really don't think you understand this thread. SE (as well as others such as yourself) keep trying to recognize it as a 'nerf titan' thread and therefore they can dismiss it. if you would please take the time to look back at some of the videos posted you will see that titan is being used as a glaring example to show that because of problems with the server updating players positions they are getting hit by aoe. please stop offering up the excuse that people should focus on the cast bar and not the red circle. there are several videos showing people out of the red circle before the cast bar finishes and getting hit.

    what you are truly missing though is the main point. this positional update lag affects the ENTIRE game. therefore it affects targeting. it also affects say when a healer casts a spell and moves at about 80% completion, the spell will still go off. as far as I have seen, it affects me while I am questing and fighting against mobs that toss out red circles.

    so why am I staying on if the game is so broken? because I am thinking that in order to start pvp they will have to fix this problem first. if they start up pvp and these lag problems still exist the resulting uproar will make this 100+ page thread look like a whimper.
