My single target and single target with Flare is fairly similar, except I use Swiftcast with Thunder 3 to start on the non-Flare rotation. I also don't think it's worth casting Thunder 2 at any point because the DoT damage of Thunder 2 is lower than Thunder 3. (at least when I observed it without any buffs it was) This might require some more testing on my part just to confirm though.

I also did an AK with another BLM last night where we just practically only did Flare spam on groups of 3 or more mobs. Stuff dies pretty quick.

Swiftcast + Fire 3 > Flare > Convert > Flare > Transpose > Fire 3 > Flare > Repeat at Transpose

T2 and T3 do same dot damage.

So what do you do when you get to "Repeat at Transpose"? You just stand around doing nothing for 10 seconds while transpose comes off of cooldown? Or you wait 10 seconds for Astral to fall off then normal MP regen ticks? Because you're certainly not getting MP back any other way
