Grand opening? Sorry but server transfers have happened before, and this isn't grand opening. As a matter of fact these tranfers wouldn't be happening, if SE hadn't bungled up with 90k.

Secondly, you can be prepared. SE undoubtedly has data from the 90k issue, meaning they have data to work with on what to expect come transfer time and the chance to make contingencies. They did not.

Lastly, Ignorance: lack of knowledge or information.

I fail to see where I'm ignorant at, considering everything I have been typing is true.

So instead of trying to 1 up someone on SE's behalf because you feel the need to defend them, I suggest you quit being naive and accept SE's blunders for what they are: Which is blunders.

i shall repeat : grow up, stop bitching, and try again. i know the definition of ignorance and it's writing bitchy comments too me because it doesn't understand the workings of servers used by game developers for multiplayer. its not that they wernt prepared the couldn't prepare no game to date has ever been prepared but being bitchy to them for a problem that couldnt have been countered is not the answer. the answer is be nice, polite, and patient. otherwise it's not gunna help oh and blunder: make serious mistake. if this is serious to you get a life.

Ok, so you're saying you are an expert when it comes to gaming servers. Answer me this then:

If they expected the right numbers but the servers couldn't support it, why adapt a "First Come First Serve" strategy? Why not make transfers out of one server at a time?

If the strain on the server was so clear and unavoidable, it's still a problem from choosing this strategy.

Your comment a bout why not make transfers one server at a time. The reasoning behind this is because if they did this those who are complaining in here would STILL be complaining if their server was not first and even more so if their server was last. You are always going to have those little cry babies that cant understand how a game works whether it be because they lack the brain power OR lack the will to understand so. I am sorry to those who are 40 year olds living in their basements complaining about the server transfer system being down but we are to blame just as much as SE. How many of you have been F5'ing the server trying to get it to work? This is counter productive to our goals and while it worked for some it is putting undue pressure on the server and in sense we are doing nothing more then breaking the system even more.

Allow me to reiterate to you: Blunders as there have been more then one.

Instead of doing a First Come first Serve policy, they could have done 1 server at a time. Oh look that solves the site congestion! Now who would have thought that possible? Not you for sure.

I also think that 30+ pages of people being aggravated accounts for a serious mistake.

Also as I said, contingency plans. Those are the plans you make when things don't go as planned. Aka "backup plan" to you. Which SE obviously didn't have.

As the saying goes - speak with your money, if you really disapprove of this and "know that SE always messes up" why continue to support? I'm not trying to be mean or "negative" I'm just saying, I never supported Nexon because they're a horrendous money hungry company no matter how much I loved Maplestory back in the day.
