Transfers are up!

Hey guys, I have a solution to this problem and others, something I like to call the "World Pass Reborn"!
The "World Pass Reborn" would, as Final Fantasy XI vets have probably surmised, allow its owner to transfer to another server!
There would be a few ways to acquire this in-game item:

You could buy it from an NPC for the low cost of more gil than you really want to spend or likely have at hand; probably you would have to scrounge for a few weeks to afford it. Thus this would also help fight mudflation!

It could drop from dungeon trash, which has the added benefit of encouraging players to kill all enemies. An increased chance to drop when a party member is doing the dungeon for the first time would help ensure veterans are kind to newbies.

It would also be a possible drop from fishing; this should help address complaints about fishing not being profitable.

Naturally, some will get their pass sooner than others, so the transfers will be staggered; since not everyone will be trying to transfer at the same time, everyone will be able to transfer successfully!

So what do you guys think?

Not really, just as many people will transfer off as transfer on, unless you're trying to go to a legacy world.

I ve been doing F5-enter loop for 30 mins and all i ge is "There are no characters available for World Transfer",
anybody managed to get past this point recently??

To have to wake up on a Tuesday morning, grab a mug of coffee and sit down to some of these messages for 8 or 10 hours a day on top of whatever other duties he has to do besides being a forum moderator. Whew.

Sympathies, man.

Also, it should likely be known that hostile questions don't beget answers... just in case that wasn't common knowledge.
