How much Tombstones of Myth/Phil does AK yield now?
How much Tombstones of Myth/Phil does AK yield now?

What are you talking about? AK takes the same amount of time as before. If you're talking about the original AK speedruns, those were nerfed long ago and shouldn't be compared to the 2.05 version, which only changed two things (gil drops and amount of tomes).

It doesn't make sense, but there's people that get upset about things like that anyways. If something becomes easier to obtain (easier meaning less time to get it in this case) and someone had already gotten it the "hard" way, they are going to complain about it (most likely in General Discussion, where all the rest of the whining goes). There's already people complaining that mining and botany have been made easier.
What I'm trying to say I guess is there's always going to be someone upset. Sure there should have been a little more communication on hotfix details but the only reason people are getting upset about this whole thing is because they were told there were going to be improvements, and the improvements weren't as good as they wanted.

Hot fixes seem fine to me.
- 100 Philo from AK and WP gives options to stay out of the story dungeons. WP now gives Myth so it's an option for new players/alt classes to get starter gear or fill in gaps while working on mythology, opposed to myth being limited to AK early on. While the gil incentive to go towards repairs are nice, I'm still going to skip certain trash packs if it's allowable. (stuff like the extra hippogryph pack near the beginning of AK, not sacrifice stuff)
- Mining/botany seems to have gotten about a 50% xp increase across the board.
If you thought they were going to increase the amount of mythology per week you're deluded. There's no way SE would allow people to be in full AF2 before Crystal Tower came out.

Even then if your trying to maximize your char every slot from coil is not the best, i have seen tons of mages turn down the coil healing body to save up for AF2 healing bodyNot sure if you've actually done Coil yourself yet from what you say in your post. You can only complete a Turn of BCoB once per week. You have to hope the item you're looking for drops. Then you have to hope you win the need/greed lot from anyone who might be competing with you for the drop. Grinding myths for AF2 is the only reliable way to get IL90 gear atm - Allagan gear from Coil is about getting lucky with drops and rolls. People could go months on BCoB without getting any drops.
If they had done that people would have their gear and whine that there is nothing to do.... oh wait people already do that now so I guess SE just can't win to lose.

I'm honestly confused by the players who thought this hotfix would increase the Myth cap. It's been calculated to take about 5 months to get all your AF2 with Myth cap. AF2 is ilevel 90, and as we know, as of 2.1, Coil - i.e. ilevel 90 gear - will still be the best you can get. Crystal Tower is lower leveled than that. 2.1 is likely to come out around December, and the major content patches are supposed to take ~3 months per iteration. That puts you at another 5 months before we see a content patch where ilevel 90 gear is potentially not the best you can get. Why would they let you max out that level gear long before raising the cap on it? You'd have nothing left to do in the game, something people already have a problem with.
