How many hours per day does one play?

From release? I'm pretty sure if you played 2 hours a day you'd be able to start on Coil now if you have focused fully on leveling and gearing up at 50.

Almost. I got the game at launch and play somewhere from 2-5 hours a day (sometimes I skip a day, but with rest exp I still make pretty good progress) and i've just hit 50 on my combat class. I already have a 50 alchemist though, and I have conjurer up in the 20s since I am trying to bring it up to 34 for Stoneskin.

So with someone playing as much as I do, if you skipped crafting and didn't worry about your sub class at all, yeah you could probably be at Coil. Though having Alchemist has put me where I can already pretty much go ahead and make my green, so I don't regret my time spent on crafting.
