Wow this thread is still going strong.
Heck yeah! XDD
As a side note... It's not only the Miqote behinds that were shaved off, ALL of them were shaved off...males and females, but it is noticed more for females since they have hips that don't match the behind. =-=;
Absolutely, I remember my 1.0 character having a much nicer rear-end than this version! I sincerely hope they revise the character models in the future.
My main problem is actually this:Wow this thread is still going strong.

Hmmm. I'm looking at this picture trying to figure out what's wrong:My main problem is actually this:

Sleeping in a mask
Sleeping in a Robe... oh, the robe physics aren't working...
Apparently some of the body is missing (noticed this as well when equipping anything in the game that has a see-through piece)
Personally, my biggest problem with that picture is that when you do go to bed, it locks the camera.
You forget that at that time there was a camp who complained about female Miqo'te because of the fact that they look like human-shaped catgirls and wished they were more cat-like. I wasn't one of them, but I remember rolling my eyes whenever they made their presence known.
While I sympathize with this thread, I also feel the modeling team looks at this and collectively shudders at the idea of having to re-weight, resize, re-animate and re-do physics for every piece of leg gear and a lot of torso gear currently in the game only because some people want miqo'te butts to be bigger.
It's a worthy cause (channeling Sir Mi-a-lot and everything), but it is also very intensive. That and I earlier mentioned issues low-poly models have with physics in that part of the body.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
It's tragic that this is a thread with 75 pages, and it's tragic that there are that many people bothered by a virtual ass on their characters. Christ, haven't you got better things to be doing than sitting around moping about the fact that your mi'qote hasn't got a ghetto booty. More so for the original poster, who actually went so far as to create images, detailing every minute detail. Get a life!
In the word of Mr. Spock: "This is... illogical."You forget that at that time there was a camp who complained about female Miqo'te because of the fact that they look like human-shaped catgirls and wished they were more cat-like. If the bust slider is any indication, you wouldn't need to redo anything, because the game already compensates for it.
Who said anything about "ghetto booty" OoIt's tragic that this is a thread with 75 pages, and it's tragic that there are that many people bothered by a virtual ass on their characters. Christ, haven't you got better things to be doing than sitting around moping about the fact that your mi'qote hasn't got a ghetto booty. I just want something that looks "normal" not anorexic.
Also, I believe everyone knows by now that "gamers" are a fickle breed. We don't do what you would call "getting a life." We instead do things like creating spreadsheets about how to most efficiently do damage, how to do something in the shortest time possible, and how to min/max everything in the game.
Hardly "normal" to anyone who plays games on the side, but if you enter the gamers' world, you better be prepared for our "normal" because here you're the strange one.
