No one is forced to pay for a video game.
If you don't want to pay for one, then...wait for it...don't.

Back to the cave with you!Stupid people? Again, enjoy that internet safety where you can say what you want...the real world is scary so ... stay out and continue to play games like Call of Duty
You simply proved one of my points by your post though, so thank you. You can read mine to figure it out...it may take you some time so I'm willing to wait for a response in the form of an "ohhhhhh"
Move along troll post
But... you haven't stated any valid points.Stupid people? Again, enjoy that internet safety where you can say what you want...the real world is scary so ... stay out and continue to play games like Call of Duty

all in all you are losing $0.40 for this maintenance, get everyone that posted on this ridiculous post to send you a penny and you should have just about enough to buy some Tylenol to cure the headache you are causing yourself
Wow.. cause most of the data center maint have not now been early AM NA times. We get all world down for large updates and miss some time so we have an issues. This last few hours of the NA evening is such a bad time, SE can we go back to taking it down for the entire NA evening, or wait thats was worse and they have adjusted it to interfere with less and less people...
This a world wide game, someone is going to take a hit and there are no legal grounds for anything about this, try to take them to court (well you be laughed out the lawyers office, but on the rare chance it saw a court) and all they have to say is 1. TOS, 2. without maintenance the game would become unplayable and all maint were done in timely manner to fix the actual issues keeping ppl from playing and closed case.
You must be a real tough guy considering you deem it necessary to remind ppl its safe behind a computer as if you would do something if they were face to face. Do us all the solid and leave the game.
where is the downvote button?
I haven't said what kind of person I am and I won't on the internet. I just know that people wouldn't talk like this face to face with me or anyone for that matter.
I will leave this game after I've spent my 3 months that I've paid for. Also, me leaving the game doesn't help you or anyone. The more people that leave the game means the less and less that you'll see out of a game like this.
Also, to clear the air of everybody suggesting that I just want my money back..... I've already given them my money but I think we should get the time back that we have paid for during times when we're wanting to play but unable due to downtime.
but listen, all comments and hate for me aside...I see that I am the minority in thinking that I am paying for something that I'm not receiving and in that, I will back down. My opinion won't change but I'll keep it to myself and my opinion will disappear with me in 3 months time. I appreciate the people who actually gave their opinions without adding all of the silly internet-only comments.
I can say that I'd be perfectly happy to point out that just because you didn't read a contract before signing it does not mean you're exempt from parts of it. That's not being a jerk it's just being honest.
Some people prefer quality players (in their opinion) over large amounts of players. So, in their eyes, players leaving that they don't want to have around actually is a benefit to them.
That time adds up to a negligible amount and, as I pointed out earlier in the thread, you agreed that it was something you were paying for when you scrolled past the ToS and hit agree when you first got the game. So, you're not going to get many people to agree with you because it's a rather silly concept.
I think the reason there's an over-whelming negative response to this is because it's something we (MMO veterans) see on a fairly regular basis. From people being surprised that weekly maintenance happens weekly to angry that it interferes with their personal schedule and clearly the world revolves around them so the employees of whatever company should cater to them specifically to those who actually think that the few cents they're losing is worth suing for a return on despite agreeing to it in the first place.but listen, all comments and hate for me aside...I see that I am the minority in thinking that I am paying for something that I'm not receiving and in that, I will back down.
