Now reverse the graph and you have whats happening in game.
Really, everyone pointing out that its just S&D is as wrong as everyone saying they're getting anything for free by doing it themselves.

You, sir, are the one that is mistaken. If there is no value in someone listing the item for 1 gil, then they will not list it. Someone is making a profit, directly or otherwise, and your failure to comprehend the nature of their actions does not make supply and demand any less valid.
If anything, you all should be elated that this is happening. If the price of everything drops, maybe players will stop buying gil and RMT will go away. I mean, why would someone in the market of selling gil for real world currency be trying to DROP the prices in game? That is counter-productive. I think you need to rethink who is actually listing this stuff for 1 gil.
I think that, out of pure spite, I'll start selling all my philosophy tomestone purchases for 10K a pop... 40-50K below market price. Just to troll. I'll still be making a profit anyways. Added effect: watching the world burn. I mean, I gotta be true to my namesake and all.

Are you kidding me? Supply and demand does not ignore profit or the market the product its aimed at, why in hell do people sell stuff for 1gil in AH when it sells for 3 gil in vendor and with NO TAX! There is no supply and demand here just blind undercutting! You all can wail your arms around and have a party and say everything is ok but do not come back later when all of your time spend crafting amounts to no value at the end of the trip cause you asked for it.You, sir, are the one that is mistaken. If there is no value in someone listing the item for 1 gil, then they will not list it. That's cool, ill come around buy them off , re-sell them for the appropriate amount and make a profit off you. You get your sense of blind achievement for pissing off strangers and I get the real money.I think that, out of pure spite, I'll start selling all my philosophy tomestone purchases for 10K a pop... 40-50K below market price. What you don't understand is that people are listing it. Not only are they listing it, everyone else that isn't paying attention (everyone) lists it under them. Not even by 1 gil, over 20%+. Most of it is from the moronic idea that you have to list everything you own. Then we get this snowball market crash because half the market is GOTTA GO FAST burning all long term value. These are items that were already selling rapidly at their current price with market history showing it plain as day.
The first mistake is ever assuming RMT can function off their own legitimate accounts. Twisting the rest of the game around RMT instead of just banning them is pretty much on par with the delusional devs out there. Attacking the symptoms instead of the source. Alternatively RMT will go away when they start forcing the use of security tokens and/or morons stop losing their accounts.
Also, enjoy being flipped to no negativity to anyone else.
