I like PVP more than PVE personally. Fighting humans is always more fun. I just hope it will be more large scale.Not open world where people gank people doing other things but areas set up properly for balanced vs with 30+ players per side.
PVE is cool too. After years of gaming though learning to memorise patterns gets a little meh. I am happy to share a game with everyone else's preferences. Why is it that other people get so worried when something they dislike shows up?

Like these forums. This is general discussion but it seems to be more like a moan and whine, petition and troll board.
Shame the world seems to be losing more and more tolerance to anything different.

who cares if 'PVPer' will be a minority? the key word is variety. I am definitely here to play the PVE content but that doesn't mean that I don't want to join a pvp match every once in a while.

most people are not exclusively one or the other. it's really not PVPer vs PVEer

not forgetting to mention that the competetive gameplay in a typical MMO is always laughable. if I want a real challenge I play planetside 2 or something like that

next thing you know people complain about open world dungeons since people want end-game and SE should not waste time on anything else.
people complain about end-game since 'the other issues' aren't fixed
people will complain about housing wasting resources and don't even let me get started on the marriage system...

PvP!! Heck yea!!........ummm no. This begins the death toll of the PvE game. The "balancing" act begins. It's bad enough we have people whining because x class does more or is better at (insert activity) than y even in PvE. Which btw is the most ignorant thing I have ever seen. I mean Player Versus Environment means thank you each and every class for your involvement. The competition is against ..hold it..the Environment! If I want to be the same as x then I will play x not come in here and whine. But now..well PvP screams balance. And so we begin that endless act. FF series IS PvE. No reason the MMO had to be something different.

Did PvP make ppl stop doing PvE in WoW? no. In pretty much any other MMO that has any PvP? No. the lack of thought into this post is amazing to say the least.

There are already significant debates about different classes being useless in PvE. Fortunately, as far as people can determine, this is not actually true, though some are less desirable in bleeding edge content due to working less effectively than the other class(es) in their niche. That's not to say they aren't viable, but that they're a lot harder to use as effectively.

What issues?!? Umm waaahh he hit that boss for 100 more damage than me! Yes the idea was to kill the boss but but still....its just not fair. Again what the heck is the issue?? You successfully was a part of the group that successfully accomplished the PvE objective. Once more....what issues?? Want some crackers?? I do apologize for the wording. Ignorance means the person has no idea of the workings of PvE. I should have used the other word that is descriptive of knowing but not utilizing the knowledge perhaps. And not being 50 (in this game) does not change obvious facts of the gameplay.

Please reread the post. I have no qualms or quarrels with PvP. It was the balancing issue it brings that translates over into PvE that I had a problem with, which I have since apologized for, being I was unaware of separate skill sets for each Pvp and PvE.
