Yes, this is definitely exploited. But as it stands currently, it needs to be. The xp gained from quests as you level up doesn't correctly coincide which what you need for xp. Hell, if I had to do leves and dungeons and kill random mobs from the 46-49 no quest point, I'd take me a week instead of the two days it took me just to START questing again. More quests need to be added at the higher levels, or the xp gained needs to be increased because even though I don't like fate grinding, it is the only real way to level up.

Hell besides if people want to do this to level, why the hell not? Once they hit 50 its mostly going to be useless except for possibly seals. Other things need to be changed before they change anything on fates.

All FATEs are pathetic in this game. Well... maybe not this one actually, I had so much fun delivering that poor little girl ! I felt like a real hero compared to the mass of people on that roof who didn't care about her life. I'm lvl. 50 now (did it the hard way), but I will gladly do this FATE again if for some reason I feel bored in the future.

P.S. : Thanks SE, you're the first MMO maker providing me a way to punish kids.

I have successfully ruined 20 or so Dark Devices fates while trying to spiritbond. Since I am 50 I don't get experience so someone makes a fuss, I go and kill the lambs.

In all seriousness, it's in the upper 40s. In only did it once and it's whatever. If you're really only 16 like your profile shows, you have a while before you can do the DD fate

Cool. It's in Northern Thanalan too. At your lvl, I would get some gear from the Brayflox lvl 32 dungeon then you can FATE all you want to 45, get your AF gear from your class quest, then start doing higher FATEs like DD in Northern Thanalan and Mor Dhona.

First time I ever supported FATEs but after I started leveling a DPS with no story quests, it's a necessity to level effectively as a DPS.
