So how much DPS do you guys do on the dummies?

My BLM DPS on Lvl 50 Dummy bursts at 325 on average (got one at 365 but that is pure procs/crits). Average 10 minute parsed at 253-270 on thunder 3, fire 3, fire until procs rotation, no flares or Raging Strikes used. I did notice something strange though, whenever I did a Scathe phase (such as in some fights you can do to not totally drop your dps) dps would drop to about 253-256 and be super hard to recover from even with procs. Just as a side note, FC member was running parser on Titan HM and he said my BLM parsed at around 180-187 DPS. Possibly could be higher if I was more focused lol.

I didn't take a screenshot of the 340 by action so I went out to try and replicate it an hour ago and couldn't get the RNG as friendly as it was earlier, QQ. Here is the actions for a 326 dps though.

What is your rotation, and how do you use flare? That is some nice dps. I am just interested. Even if you hit more than 1 target with flare, not saying this is what happened, it is still pretty up there. I did not get the links for your pictures until I hit reply and copied them, btw.

Ive had 450DPS 30 second bursts, 340 sounds like a number you would get by targeting any of the dummies within AOE range of each other and having flare worked into rotation. To clarify summit, you were using the dummy on the furthest right/west in whitebrim?

Did a 5 min parse on BRD, got 231 DPS, I probably could have done higher due to letting dots fall sometimes to hit End/BL, I'll try again later. Gear as followed:

Spinel Ring HQ(10 Acc, 6 Vit, 3 Det)
Spinel Ring HQ(10 Acc 4 Vit)

Imp Op Wrists HQ(10 Acc, 3 Crit, 4 Vit, 3 Det)

Profile Stats:

Accuracy 518 - Overkill but I can't slot Crit or Dex on Accs

Attack Power 425
Skill Speed 375

Latest version of XIV App - 70,781 Damage, 100% Accuracy, 37.12% Crit Rate. No food and the usual buffs, Internal, Blood4blood and used Invig once. Overall pretty happy considering the gear, will be even better once I get Allagan/Heros to replace my accessory's, getting AF2 legs today first.

Edit: Did another 233 DPS, same everything ofc.

Edit2: I could also get slight lag due to having 2 characters logged in on the same PC, will try again more tonight.

If you don't have Piety materia, and you start your string with Swiftcast Thunder III, then do your standard Fire -> Firestarter string until Blizzard III, you can get locked out of Thunder II and either have to Scathe/Blizzard I or wait a few seconds to recover MP.

I'm still confused. You do realize that T2 and T3 don't stack right? Using a swiftcast T3 followed by a T2 is a waste of a gcd.

Depends on what you mean by "good." FFXIV App is the most commonly used one, I reckon; though Log Rep has a fair share of users, too.

Keep in mind that neither of them can accurately parse DOT damage, and I know app doesn't pick up Shadow Flare or Flaming Arrow, and I believe neither of them accurately pick up Sword Oath damage. . .

Of course, all these issues ultimately go back to "the combat log needs a lot of work."

I don't clip it or stack it. I never meant that I do it one after the other, merely that I use Thunder II at the end of the rotation. I'll make this even simpler since there seems to be confusion.

Without piety: Thunder III > Fire x Firestarter until almost out of MP > Blizzard III > Thunder I or Scathe or Blizzard I or wait until an MP regen tick occurs then do Thunder II
With piety: Thunder III > Fire x Firestarter until almost out of MP > Blizzard III > Thunder II with no pause whatsoever
