People who rush to endgame, then finish it so fast they are left wondering where all the content is for $100 Alex.
So is he wrong? I haven't tried end game yet so I am genuinely curious. I see people defending SE on this but no one is refuting anything he said. Is it truly so bad that the only solution to what the OP described is to avoid the end game completely or submit yourself to an absolutely ludicrously monotonous grind for months and months?

Man, Wrath of the lich king stuff should of been there at launch...goodness why didn't steam add big picture mode at launch... while we are at it, why didn't Apple release Siri and IOS7 when they first released the Iphone series.
What the playerbase wants and what developers can do in a certain amount of time contradicts everything. In a business like the game industry everything has time limits on how long they have to get a product out to the masses. while developers wants to add what everyone wants, they simply can't. While it may not take too long to come up with a concept for an addition to a game, don't forget how long it takes to model everything as well as code it into it.

Please keep up to date with Dev posts. Also 2.1 will be patched in to the game 4-6 weeks from now. 2.1 will introduce many more ways to obtain tombstones and will readjust the current system further to make it more user friendly.
*sigh* In a way hes right, but in all honesty i think its still to early to be calling doom. I mean the game hasnt been out for a long period of time yet. Give it an update or two. I mean ffs. Think about it yoshi and team pulled this game from the fire in, what was it. two years? Thats kinda unheard of in the mmo industry especially with most of them taking what, 4 years these days? Give it a bit more time, something tells me hes got plans. Give it a bit longer.
Oh look another person who isn't getting the OP's point.
Because running the same dungeon 50 times to get geared is "enjoying the game and its content for what it is". You can run the same dungeon 10 times in 1 day, or 1 time for 10 days, it's still going to be repetitive and boring.
Even WoW had some variety; 5-6 Heroics instead of 1 clear cut efficient route. And they didn't involve having to skip cutscenes and find 7 other people. Don't even bring up duty finder, a.k.a. 3 people AFK finder.
Epic Story? You mean Level 48-50 right? The rest was very VERY bleh
Most people defending SE are MMO veterans who know that newest stuff is always slow as to keep the hardcore players busy. The requirements will drop later when new content comes in and replaces it as the endgame. At which point people will complain about that instead. So is he wrong? From what I've seen, people think they're "forced" to get anything and everything that they see, even if they're not meant to have it all on this patch. If there was no currency, no gear vendors and everything came from random dungeon drops and primals, would we get these complaints? So is he wrong?
