    The lack of an official response indicates that you are right, which is a pity since it will cost them a portion of their player base: those who are just fed up with failing boss encounters due to factors totally out of their control. It is clear that the game was more successful than they anticipated, not fixing (or even responding to) issues such as this will make having a small niche market a self fulfilling prophecy.

    Apparently this exact problem has remained unfixed in FFXI for 11 years now while other MMOs didn't have it at all in those years. We probably need to accept it and either move on or try to live with it. But expecting a fix is starting to border on superstition.

    I honestly don't understand how they can roll with a AAA MMORPG (dozens of millions of dollars of investment) and have it ruined by one of the most basic yet most important aspect of online gaming: an acceptable sync delay between the server and the clients (that is, "ping + a very low value", a few milliseconds at worse).

    Even indie online RPG do better than that. One has to wonder if anybody at SE has the skills to netcode anything properly. Just like one has to wonder if they know anything about ergonomics, or economics for that matter. It's totally incredible. They must have like 50 of the best 3D artists on this planet working on this game, the endgame credits are listing probably in the vicinity of 300 names, if not more, yet there's not even one guy able to do proper network programming ─seeing as how they couldn't solve this issue since v1.0 began, and they keep ignoring topics such as this one. How is that even possible for a game company selling online products in 2013? How can their QA department even green-light such a sub-par online experience? It ruins the fun of combat! It makes a simple task such as managing items excruciatingly tedious! It's the thing that puzzles me most about Yoshi-P: brilliant game designer, supposedly "hardcore PvPer", yet willing to roll with such a poor netcode? Boggles my mind.

    I find titan to be an easy fight, but I can see why latency can be an issue here... How could this be SE fault though? I hope this game doesn't go easy mode for people with good connections.

    If its lag i should not be kicked in this direction right? This basicaly means that the server knows where im standing but still hit me(kick in wrong direction).

    In-Game Delay

    I hope they fix this issue soon, or at the very least present a timetable on when this issue might be resolved. I really enjoy the game, but this "delay" for lack of a better description, does really put a hamper on things.

    This is very important feedback from the game to the player. Imagine if the delay they set on position check was on keystroke input also, it has a similar effect on gameplay.
