No because we don't know if he used a limit break which at that point kinda invalidates the entire parse.

BTW I'm not saying his numbers aren't real or fake one way or the other. But if he's getting his 300+ numbers after doing a limit break, then it's not representative of the class's actual DPS.

That's the only reason why I'd be curious to see his numbers on a dummy. He could end this entire argument conclusively with a simple screenshot. All he has to do is go to a dummy and parse for several minutes and link an image, done. The fact we're just getting defensive statements from him and his FC friend instead does make me a bit suspicious....

because in a party, there are external factors. FFXIV app is known to leech skills and dots from other players mistakenly and put them on other players - you can see BRDs using doom spike and stuff for example lol

tbh, it literally takes 3m-5m to go to bent branch, start FFXIV app, and hit a dummy for 4m to establish an accurate baseline dps measurement. the burden of evidence is on you if you claim that you consistently do "highest single target damage" with that garbage rotation, terrible dot/debuff clipping and amazing (lel) OGCD usage. if you have more than 300 dps and show it along with dmg breakdown, then gj, you made me look like a dumbass. but right now im confident that A. you're bad, B. you're blissfully ignorant

consider that party dps with LB is in no way an accurate baseline of dps, especially when the total damage in the first place is pretty low in your images

tl;dr - put up or shut up, since you aren't even on turn 5 lol. again, if you can output 350+ dps in a real fight, establishing a dps baseline of 300 on a dummy should be p easy if you're not talking out of your ass~

Oh look at that... she posted a dummy parse of 322 DPS. As far as being on turn 5 Coil.. we've been playing the game for 2 weeks on a brand new server that has only been up for 3 weeks at most. So forgive us if we haven't caught up to the legacy players just yet, but we will be very soon(1 Turn away).

I'm not saying this to call you out as being a liar, I just believe in doing my due diligence taking claims on the internet off face value. Best thing would be a live side by side video showing you parsing on dummy and the parser at the same time, since you have a link to your youtube channel, it shows you are capable of making such videos, looking forward to it along with your rotational video, would love to genuinely hit those numbers!

Good suggestions. I'll keep it in mind for future work. As I said, I plan to do these things but making videos, especially HQ ones takes a considerable amount of time as I wish to provide quality in respect to my viewers.

Well looking at your video released yesterday: LINK

Aside from the very first opener, which I'm gonna assume was a mistake (unless you wanted to hit the enemy with Fr, BFB, and immediately reapply Fr), all the rest of your rotations are as vanilla cookie cutter as they come:

HT > Fr > Ph > ID > Dis > CT > TT > VT > FT > HT > Fr > Ph > recommended rotation on front page.

I can go to a dummy right this moment and copy "your" rotation exactly, it will not give me the numbers you link and I have similar gear to you. I don't care about skill ceiling or whatever, there's no way skill ceiling will cover the discrepancy between your supposed numbers and mine, when I am literally doing the exact same thing you show in your video. So unless I see a live video of you + parser and not using a limit break, don't think your screenshot proved anything.

I talk to a lot of Dragoon players here on Behemoth;many of them are hardcore raiders with amazing gear. Whenever the topic of DPS parses comes up, most of them say they do around 260~. A lot of these people are on turn 5 with their FC, so they are definitely competent and skilled with their rotations. That said, I don't think that they have suboptimal rotations, but it seems that getting 300+ seems like a pipedream regardless of your rotation with current gear. I would check your parser version and see if it's working correctly if you haven't.

A live video with damage breakdown would be great, because if you really can do that much DPS with that gear on a working parser, I'd be really excited to gear up and get my relic ^^

Well looking at your video released yesterday

My Titan Rotation is not optimal rotation I use for max DPS. As said before I only got around 277 in that fight. I released that video mainly on helpful purposes for newer players who haven't actually experienced that specific fight itself.
