I'd hope the content of this game will not be limited to 8 man groups for the rest of time, a really sad thing if that's true.

This is kind of the point of a ready check isn't it? Especially in groups where language barriers are present(Japanese, French, English). Wouldn't it be nice to click a button when you're back from your 5 minute break?
