I'm not really offended, don't worry. You're right, the main use for the guilds themselves is for pride and epeen and such, but for outsiders its "hmmm who's good on this server that i can apply to?" and english speaking players wouldn't be interested in applying to the JP guilds anyway, so there isn't much reason to list them if they don't request it themselves.
