Just don't forget. SE shouldn't have to hold your hand and baby you.
Or, you could just be more responsible. I make it a point to do a repair after any single dungeon or run I do, no matter how little the damage is. I refuse to walk into a dungeon and potentially screw the people in my party with half-beaten gear that breaks at the wrong time.
there's also the option of putting the time into getting the appropriate DoH class leveled to 50 and making sure you keep yourself stocked with Grade 5 Dark Matter.
This happen to our tank the other day, he forgot to repair and his gear durability was very low, so low that by the time we got to the last boss in AK, he took a few bad hits and died lol. We still manage to clear the dungeon, as he had some backup gear and use that instead, and me and the other DPS was relic +1 so we can kill very fast
But yeah make it a habit to repair everytime you finish a run, I always do that, so never had problem.
Wow such rude attitudes, tell you what keep the repair NPCs out of the HM stuff or the leets will throw a tantrum, problem solved..
I don't care about repair NPCs to be honest, wouldn't hurt to have em I suppose, just sick of everyone's responses being stupid crap like "SE shouldn't have to hold your hand".
Seriously guys stop treating people like every issue they have with the game stems from them being a bad player, its old..
Apparently introducing npc's inside dungeons for sake of convenience is now associated with Se holding your hand? Pray tell, how would this make the dungeon any harder therefore showing off the awesome level of skill you have? Taking extra dmg and dealing next to none due to broken gear doesnt count for anything as such other than making you a leech in the team so find another one :/
While i agree that ppl should make an effort to try to repair after each run if they can, you cannot discount the variable known as "distraction of ingame or real life scenarios" that can cause you to deviate from such habits.
GW2 had this in their dungeons, can't remember if all of them but they do have it, it's nice and just for convenience sake because you can't discount the fact that you really will forget to repair your armor especially if you have a few different class that you run your dungeon with.
This is not even hand holding, imagine you really did forgot to repair your armor and you are half way to the dungeon, your armor durability are low with no way to repair it. You do not have backup armor, so what are you going to do? Are you going to leave the party and just brush off the time you spend in the dungeon or are you going to continue on while being a burden to your party with your almost broken armor?
May as well remove gear durability all together.
