    What do you guys expect? Some kind of app for your phone that summons a gm to you in game? @ OP, I dont get how you not having your fantasia prevents you from enjoying the game. How did you lose it in the first place? Don't be so impatient and maybe you wont frustrate yourself.

    That's odd. The one issue I had I proactively called them and got my issue resolved as soon as I got a person on the phone. Granted, I was on hold for about 20 minutes but that's pretty good for a new game.

    impatient is not the issue here, the issue here is the support ingame and outside of game. Myself I have a double AF1 item on my character and I ask SE to remove 1 of em for me, I contract live support, they send me to support desk, support desk send me to forum, and I had wait for a week now and no info if they will solve it or not

    No, I expect to be contacted in a reasonable amount of time. I expect GMs to do their jobs and to actually be in the game dealing with gil spammers and other player's issues. Usually when I pay monthly for an MMO I expect more from it then a F2P MMO. Yet Here I am seeing a subscription game plagued with issues I would find in a F2P MMO. Honestly it's nothing short of pathetic.

    Today I find out a FC member was hacked. Their roommate said it was the second time it happened and they ordered tokens but have not yet received them yet so they couldn't do much to avoid the second time. When my FC member contacted SE in regards to buying a new copy of the game to get a new account after being permanently banned, they told him that they would ban the new one the second it popped up with the same info as his old one. Now he can't play the game at all and hes a huge FF fanboy.

    These are issues. Great, you may not have had to contact support before, but being ignorant of the subject and ignoring everyone else in the topic proving there to be issues by saying "be patient" is not the answer to them. I already explained my situation with the fantasia. I don't care if your character doesn't mean anything to you, but mine does when I could potentially be spending years playing as them. When I make regrettable changes to the race and appearance, I want to fix them.

    Wait...lets go back to the original problem. Did you use the Fantasia potion or did you throw it out? Your post makes it sound like you used it and goofed but just wanted to make sure...

    Wasn't NCSoft, Tera? I might be mistaken, but Tera had the best customer support i've ever encountered in an MMO. It was absolutely fantastic.

    Used it and regret it. Like I said in my original post it probably sounds pathetic, but there you go. Even if the end result is "You're an idiot and we cannot help you" I shouldn't have to wait for days just to have a GM tell me that.

    I hate to be that guy, who brings up WoW again, but Blizzard GMs generally responded to tickets within hours. For things like "holy crap my party is stuck on the wrong side of a grate" it was more like 20 min.

    As much as I enjoy XIV itself, its customer care, in-game and out, is atrocious and indefensible. My sister's account was hacked two weeks ago and she's still waiting on a resolution. IF they reinstate it she's then looking at (judging from anecdotal evidence) two more weeks to a month to get her items/gil returned. This whole process would have taken Blizzard under 24 hours and would have been handled simultaneously; not broken up into two separate cases to be ignored for weeks. The best part? If she gets her account back, she can't really play during the weeks she waits for a rollback or she'll lose that progress. And she has to pay for all of this time she's unable to play.
