...this isn't an opinion on the situation, this is what is currently happening to people.

If you are making gil from a person who has gil that has been obtained from a source that is RMT, SE can take it from you.

Other side of the coin is, I don't believe half of the ppl telling their story as this is the internet. Cheaters love to play the cry innocence game and unfortunately SE doesn't share their investigations to the public and never will.

I've been crafting for a long time, and selling things on the market for just as long. I didn't get suspended, banned, or gil confiscated. Knowing my situation just makes it hard for me to believe all these people complaining about it on the forums aren't guilty.

I have friends who now have over a couple million in this game made from launch of 2.0 to now , they are still playing and crafting .
Its hard to not pass judgment when a small minority gets punished and the rest are still playing the game ....

If SE does anything there will always be those who will cry innocent.

Unfortunately, I will have to agree with this sentiment. I don't disbelieve that there is a segment of the populace that is genuinely innocent and wrongfully punished, but due to the sheer number of warp hacking, botting, speed hacking and RMT activities that I observe every night, it's almost impossible for me to take sides on this issue. No one has been forthcoming in their totality to prove their innocence one way or another and SE hasn't come out with their side of the story.


Just wanted to add that I have witnessed hackers and botters that were members of legitimate Free Companies (at least on Siren), so just because someone is of a Free Company or you *knew* from a previous MMO does not mean that they are above or beyond the capability of running afoul of the TOS.

If you read my previous comments and others.

You will see that it is near impossible to "take it to SE", therefore this forum is the last place we have to try and get a response.

I also think other players deserve to know what is happening.
