Relics may be required for Crystal Tower

I'm still bothered that some are gonna have a good amount of alagan and ilvl 90 mythology pieces that most of the gear in crystal tower will be obsolete before it is even released. Which is sad because they are probably going to have completely new looks for the armor and weapons that will drop. I really hope it looks like crystal armor and they introduce the vanity system soon after.

Don't worry. Because of the cap and the Coil reset, SE knew exactly how many lvl 90 pieces people outside of Coil would be able to obtain and probably took this into account. Not only this, the people who are actually getting BCoB drops is like 1% of the population.

Crystal Tower will likely drop myth tokens. It's supposed to be a step-stool to Binding Coil so the drops will be valuable. This will make it very attractive to everyone. It won't be obselete.

ALL of those thing would make the fight such a joke... The relic weapons are already so easy to get, that you don't even feel good when you get them... Why not just hand them out for hitting 50 now? =(

Relic weapons are basically what AF was in 1.0. They will be replaced shortly. Hell, some Allagan weapons are already better replacements for Relic +1s.

Relics are for casuals, so no they won't have any trouble getting in.

It really is quite sad... I mean, I love this game and I really enjoyed endgame so far, but in the back of my mind I do always have this nagging remind that the developers are going to nerf it later so people can progress easier... It is sad that the final boss of MMOs is progression itself, and the developers are the ones killing it... Sadder yet that the "reason" they're designing content like this is almost completely uncalled for...

We'll have a server board we can use to form groups with people on our server. It should effectively be forming a shout group, with much of that effort removed...
Add a system whereby the people joining such a group for content they've already cleared are rewarded with points such as tomestones (possibly make it so its always the highest tier tomestones).
Done. People always have a reason to help out new player progress; tomestone farming.
In the process players also meet people on their sever who possibly may invite them to their LS/FC to make future content easier.

Seriously... Why they're sticking to the Derpy Finder and tagging MVP to it, when the server board is quite possibly the best thing they can possibly add for everyone, I'll never know...

Frankly, getting relics right now can't possibly get more casual. Buy a Titan win and then do 9 runs of CM isn't very difficult (lag notwithstanding)

I noticed a huge difference in my ability to dodge plumes going from a Comcast connection in Florida to a Comcast connection in DC. Times when I used to cringe knowing I was going to get hit were met with surprise. There were even points I had started to cast Cure II on myself but had to interrupt it.

There is a huge problem with lag in this game, and I feel like if they were to address that, the number of capable people would rise dramatically.

Still a lot of casuals still have not beat titan and often post about how he is too hard. I see a lot of relics but I see even more people that don't have one in the game still.
