    Was there any mention about The Twelve prior to the 4th or 5th Astral Era? (whichever one it was where Allagan society was at its peak) That's the only hole I can try to find with this theory.

    I'm tending to agree with Catapult that the Ascians are probably a lot more ancient than we give them credit. I'm also wondering how the races of Eorzea/Hydaelyn and "The Twelve" are apparently in direct opposition to the Ascians and "Z". If the Allagans came after the Ascians and the Ascians and their God seem to be lying in wait in the background, what really happened all those years ago?
