Easiest DPS to play for the lazy?

So I've played MMOs since UO. Raided in EQ, WoW, AO, blah blah blah. I got a Dragoon to 50 and decided I don't like having to dodge all the cleaves bosses throw out. Not a fan of the tanks having to reposition things every 2 seconds, spinning the bosses so every other one of my flanking/rear attacks "miss". I didn't enjoy using my jump attacks and then eating an attack I should have dodged if I wasn't rooted in place for 3 seconds by the jump.
I do like glancing away from the screen every once in awhile without massive risk. I also want an easy, non 10-15 button rotation.
I'm trying to pick between a Bard and a SUM. Bard seems to be the right choice since they can run and attack, SUM has to control the pet which sounds like a pain. Figured I'd ask here for some opinions from end game people. I'm not looking to max out the dps charts. I don't care about being a world first raider. I just want to be able to play semi-drunk and not have to rage if I miss a beat by 3/4 of a second.

definitely bard. full mobility while doing 100% dmg, instant attacks, best burst in the game, best sustained due to ability to ignore mechanics, best support, very simple 4-5 button class minus temp buffs, 2nd best aoe in the game. no reason not to be a bard.

BLM with out a doubt. Incredibly simple mechanics that even a two year old could play effectively. Scales incredibly well as well and will leave all other dps scratching their heads.

There is only one answer: Bard. That is the official faceroll class of this game. You always run around so no need to actively try to dodge red, just do not run into them. Instant cast times decrease downtime alot and also means you do not have to plan so much. Did I also mention tons of utility? All players will pray for you to enter their groups aswell, so no need to lock for groups.

Easy? I like to disagree. Yes the normal rotation that every BLM and their mums use is definitely no brain auto pilot mode. However, the more complex stuff that need to be timed and perfectly executed are not easy and can't be macroed. Tell yourself what you want, but please do try BLM in Titan HM and try to stay in the very top of your group in term of damage and let me know how easy it is. I say Titan HM because it is an example of how skilled a BLM is, to be normally geared, forced to move constantly, yet manages to dodge everything and score top DPS.

Then there is a of course the Solo mage in Turn 4, have to do the job of two mages, on time, yet somehow manges to preform better than the 3 other physical DPS whom are equally geared. There are easy fights like Ifirit HM & Gruda HM that may make BLM look like an easy class, but then you get to the serious stuff in Coil and I still hear BLM = ez mode, I say lel please, go bard more.

Is really this simple.
From harder to easier.

MNK: Not so hard rotation, but buff uptime and positioning is very demanding, harder to play DPS because of poor telegraphing in game and greased lightning is a hell to upkeep.
DRG: harder rotatio, buff uptime is somewhat hard and is not that positioning intensive, hard to play DPS because of poor telegraphing in game and jump skills root the player position.
SMN: Pet and Debuff managment demands to keep eyes out of the "battle", movement is interrupted by casting. Everything else is normal. Ranged so telegraphing is not a problem.
BLM: Rotation is easy, can`t move if you want to cast, everything else is easy. Ranged and AoE very strong spells.
BRD: 5 skills rotation (lol), can move while attacking, hell of a range, incredible support flexibility, heal limit break, the only thing they can`t do is to tank, but i have seen some kiting dungeon bosses lol

This is funny. A BLM saying BRD is the easiest to play, and a BRD saying BLM is the easiest to play.
