I'm less worried about feeding the troll and more worried about the troll actively spreading misinformation. >_>
I'd have to agree that misinformation is worrisome.
Back to the FFXIVAPP parser. So it was proven and many replied that dots were not being handled correctly. The dots that have no initial damage being the worse offenders as it can be off by as much as 1,056% a tick. The latest update is now assigning 100 base damage for each of these type of dots. However my testing shows BIO as ticking for 800 a tick and BIO II as ticking for 700 a tick. So it's broke even more then it was previously.
Actually it's a bit more complicated then that. Lightning doesn't show the dots at all, only the initial hit. BIO only shows an 800 hit each time you cast it. BIO II shows ticks for 700x10 or sometimes just 700. Gads it's completely broken now.

Sadly, there's nothing that can be done until SE puts the information in the combat log.
There's so many things, beyond what you're posting, that they can't keep track of(not to mention it still doesn't track shadow flare/flaming arrow AT ALL).
yeah, not look at avg dot tick but the total amount of dot dmg - it closer to being correct than before - sucks for me because I crit for more than the 100 base dmg its forcing - but meh.
So DOT ticks can crit? I haven't noticed it playing as THM/BLM, but on the other hand I rarely look at the damage numbers anyways. I don't care how much HP my victim has, but I do care how much he has left, which the health bar relates well enough for my purposes.
Yep. If they didn't River of Blood would never proc for BRD.
Here is a small example of how broken SMN parsing is. This is using the latest build, which seems to be even buggier than normal, moderately normal behavior for bio/bio2. I've restarted it several times and still retain similar returns. Didn't have my pet out and wasn't going full bore dps, just doing a couple simple rotations.

Also ignore the dps meter, it just slowly went down from fairly high DPS spike to where it sat right there.

who cares what your average dot ticks were - your total bio II dmg was 3500 and bio I 3200
