Considering the gorgeous looking menu systems of even FFXIII, it's pretty disappointing to be subjected to such an awful looking piece in the next game of the FF series.

Edit: I should clarify, whilst I do think the current UI is piss, the other things like content and battle systems should definitely come first and foremost.
