Is the UI overhaul still a priority?

The UI is really not fine. It definitely needs a pretty major overhaul in the future, it looks horrible and archaic (Menus and such I mean, I quite like the basic screen UI) and needs some serious cleaning up. They should ditch a lot of the server-side stuff too.
Considering the gorgeous looking menu systems of even FFXIII, it's pretty disappointing to be subjected to such an awful looking piece in the next game of the FF series.

Edit: I should clarify, whilst I do think the current UI is piss, the other things like content and battle systems should definitely come first and foremost.
