I didn't notice any difference really with miqote in 1.0 and 2.0. Some people are just way too picky and try to over analyze everything.

Oh god. It's hilarious they actually responded to this.
It's not just Miqote, it's all of the models. I thought it was hysterically stupid at first as well. But the more often this thread was on the first page, the more often I found myself looking at character butts. It's a very big difference. It looks fine from a distance and from directly behind (no pun intended) the character. But turn them to the side and *poof* it's gone.
I'm not surprised that it's not coming back. A lot of aesthetics were taken out with regard to character models. It came with the smaller zones and getting rid of the copy/paste scenery that so many people railed against. *shrug*
Everyone thought paid retainers and fantasia would be the end of it.
You were warned.
Cash shop in, TrystWildkey out.
From a thread about Grass to a thread about Ass....
more outfits like the Colesium set, please.
S/E are Japanse remember? They are a nation where their citizens are showing much more obligation to obey the laws and social order. Example? During last earthquake, on one rob the local supermarkets. They will leave money for the goods they took even if store is unattend. They are different than us lol
You are all perverts for discussing this.
Silliness of this thread not withstanding, I do understand where the frustration comes from.
Remember that this game is supposed to be there for the long haul. That is to say, it'll hopefully be here for years. That means that being satisfied with your character has a lot more importance here than it does to a F2P game.
While I understand that cuts needed to be made and that the game benefited from said cuts, I still feel that this is something that SE should look into again at a later date.
Clearly, some players put their character appearance above other players but in the end it all goes into the play-style of the individual person. I'm sure there is a happy medium to be found.
On a side note!
Does that mean that we'll be seeing vanity gear that doesn't emphasize the butt? XDD
Oh and...
lmao! This is great! XDDD

I find the Dev response saddening and a bit confusing.
Why specifically mention the belts and new gear being designed at the end? Is it to dull bad news with good news? Why exactly would redoing the asses of pretty much every race make it simpler to make new gear when each piece has to be done from scratch anyways? Wouldn't it have been better to leave them as they were so that templates that already existed could still be used to make new gear? Why, since they reduced the derriere, did they not also remake the preexisting gear to better match the new configuration so that it would not look so off/wrong?
So many things they just leave out and we get a generic response of "Oh... well... we did it so that creating new gear would be more simple, but please look forward to all the new equipment." rather than saying they screwed up and that they'll possibly look into something that could work for players.
If nothing else, I hope we at least see a joke item out of this titled "Dat'azz Subligar."
