Are You Having Fun?

I don't know if I'd call it "fun" per se, but I know just by looking at my clock now and again that the time is flying by and I barely feel like I've done anything... yet I am.
I guess it is fun, but my mind doesn't quite see it as that since I'm still missing some features from 1.0 dearly.

... Have to say, I feel really conflicted at the moment on this subject haha. I thought it would have been an easy "yes" or "no" when I hit the reply button, but now... tentative "yes?" with hope for the future.

I enjoyed 1.0 version more, this time is too much fast xp for my tastes, i am not a hardcore but i do think 2.0 lost a bit of final fantasy flavor. Prolly i need to get used to it.Fun/hate = 50% rite now

Personally, I'm having a blast. Hung out with some FC mates last night, worked on leveling a few crafting/gathering classes, went around and offered to help some newbies through low-level dungeons due to lack of healers/tanks, and had an odd/funny conversation in Eastern Thanalan shout with random people about popcorn varieties. Overall a productive and fun day ^^

I'm dead serious. Who exactly here is having a laid back, chill and chirpy time? All this negativity and complaining makes it seem that a lot of people are not having a blast. So who exactly here can freely admit they are having fun in this game?

im having a blast to tell the truth. i said this was gonna be my only mmo and it hasn't failed to make it so.

Most of the time, the ones complaining are the masochists that "suffered" through 50 levels of one or more classes. Just go to ANY negative thread and look to the left.

I'm having a blast, playing since launch and continue to in the future.

Yup. Having fun farming HM primals.

Also having fun just messing around with DoH/L classes, as well as levelling up new jobs (apart from the appalling point from 40-50 please SE add more quests.)

I am not having fun with this game (currently at work and not playing it!) no but seriously it is hard not to, I guess if you go at the same thing over and over it does turn into a chore.

It takes certain kind of mindset to actually get off your routine and do something different, remember 90 percent of a MMO should be about others, kinda like life.

While I don't think its possible (or healthy!) to have fun 100% of the time at anything, I do know that when I play, the vast majority of the time I'm having great fun. My friend and I are levelling, questing, and levelling crafting classes, exploring, making the suicide run through high-level areas just to see whats out there, and taking reams of screenshots. Oh sure, you have your moments where its a touch obnoxious ("Gah, look at all these idiots dragging goblin bombs onto me while I'm fishing so they can save a half-second getting to the next FATE" or "Oh c'mon, how do you fail an 89% gather rate 16 out of 28 times?!") but that's true of anything. Once I hop back on my chocobo, or my coeurl, or run into a malboro (morbol), I'm right back to having fun again.
