I'm having an amazing time. With Ipsen Castle right by my side every party is actually an adventure. I'll gladly wait for my FC to take on Eorzea any day. If they are busy I'll gather, farm or craft to make some gil.
See you at the hot springs!

My brothers and I are having a blast in this game. Our work chat is only used to talk about what we will do in game when we get home tonight. We used to wake up early to exercise, now it's FFXIV time! (i guess i need to get back to the exercise part hehe)
I guess having someone you know IRL to play with you these kind of games makes the experience more worthwhile.
great time, run an amdapor once a day or so, do some alchemy, level an off class, go gather a bit, or sometimes hanging out because I get lazy. I am sure looking forward to 2.1 but I am at no shortage of things to do, may try get my war garuda weapon today.

I have noticed that everyone NOT having fun are those that maxed themselves out within the first month.
With that said, I have a friend of mine who is an avid gamer. Much more than myself. HE WILL NEVER PAY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION BASED GAME. Why? Because he is a cheapskate. He has done trial periods in games and always finds a reason why he doesn't like the game before he has to pay for it.
I'm not saying that everyone that dislikes the game just doesn't want to pay for it, but I will say that it is the majority.
And yes, everyone like me who is enjoying the game are in it, or at work wishing they were in it.
I have also learned that the faster I try to get to endgame (I did it so many times in WOW), that the less I got immersed in the game and didn't like the expansion. So there can be a lesson there too.

At work... wishing I was home playing QQ

I'm having a great time with the game, and I don't even have my first level 50 yet. I'm a pretty casual player on account of my job and being engaged to a non gamer. But I still get a couple of hours to play every now and then and its been a nice change of pace in comparison to my usual hardcore approach to past MMO games. It helps me to appreciate the little details of the world that much more and really enjoy my time in game.

Love/hate relationship at the moment.
I'm having a great time. I ignore the negativity and enjoy the game. You can either choose to be absorbed by the negativity or learn to ignore it and enjoy yourself. Someone is being elitist when asking for group members? Make your own group.
I'm having a ton of fun, even considering my main is in the grind phase of endgame where I'm told I'm supposed to be bored and angry.

I'm a PvE guy that wanted to raid. After the boring gearing up process that requires the farming of just two different dungeons. I now have my two healer classes maxed with all cross class skills, full DL and relics.
Now I'm just waiting for the weekly Coil... Next time I log in will be monday. But appart from raiding which is fun, the other part of raiding, which is the loot, is really non attractive when you know how stat points simply don't matter. I looted a 90 headpiece and I'm not even wearing it, it would improve my healing by 2 points... Calculations of some players show my Cure in full 90 gear would go from 950 to 980. Excuse me if I don't find this exciting.
So,am I having fun ? Nope, not anymore.
