the game has been playable for a long time now, there is no excuse to not have completed the story and be fully geared for endgame content

That was your choice, they are not meant to be skipped the first time. It completely ruins the atmosphere of the quest. The Inn was designed as tool to re-watch later, not to watch for the first time because some Jabroni can't wait a couple minutes.

cutscenes don't take that long, I don't know what the big deal is. There are threads about groups that finish CM with 1 tank and 2 people afk. CM isn't hard and one or two persons watching cutscenes aren't going to make the dungeon take longer than it has to.

My experience has been that the people rushing are the ones that make the most mistakes. Usually costing the group a wipe at a boss fight.

This is utterly nonsensical and I can't even fathom how this is logical at all, because it simply is the exact opposite of what logic is.

These players need to leave from the community, sorry to say. It's like they don't even consider that there is a storyline to this game at all, for them it is just the gameplay and they skip all the cutscenes and dialogue, almost as if they really don't mind making things dull and dreary in order to have fun. I'm going to flip this remark around and say that if that's all that matters to you is gear and grinding then you should probably not be playing an MMO either, single player games will suffice. That way you won't have to pester people who enjoy actually using their full brain to enjoy the whole game and not just half of it.

I do not harass people for watching cut-scenes, I help PUG's (DF) kill HM Titan on my spare time, etc. In my opinion, some people just take interaction in MMO's way too seriously. If you want to watch the cut-scene what is stopping you? Just watch it.

If you can't handle text being thrown at you from the other players (be it constructive criticism or anything else) then I don't know.. Maybe this kind of game is not appropriate for you. You know the game where you have to deal with other people.

I do not understand why there has to be a bully thread made every freaking minute. Like grow some skin and stop the whining. Makes me question how some of you deal with real life situations.

This is just about as nonsensical, man. If you're going to flip a comment make it justifiable. What MMORPG have you played that has not been about the gear? Is this your first rodeo? You're essentially calling out players who grind out for gear in MMO's and telling them to go back to playing their single player games? Are you serious?

Being passive about a situation that is clearly unacceptable changes nothing. The problem with people who are mature/intelligent is just that, they tend to let things slide way too much. It eventually becomes completely ridiculous where people are acting like babies because someone accidentally aggro'd a trash mob and they have to spend an extra 30 seconds out of their run to kill it.

30 seconds, really? I fail to understand that people who play all day everyday have the audacity to complain about their precious time being wasted.

I personally have played this game alot, as much as "elitists" do, but do my best to not be a terrible person. I know how to play this game, dodge shit, etc. The difference between me and an "elitist" is that I make an endeavor to be a decent human being. There is no reason why being good at a game gives anyone any right to be close minded and have a childish attitude.

I watched all the cutscenes, enjoyed the storyline, read the dialogue. I am currently fully geared out in DL with all the appropriate jobs leveled for tanking abilities (provoke, awareness, featherfoot, etc). I have relic +1 Bravura and have beaten Titan. I have millions of gil legit from being the first two star Lv50 GSM on Midgardsormr and understanding how the market works. I play the entire game and I don't "skip" things.

Unfortunately for me I leveled WAR to start which is THE class that comes with alot of hate, even though I have no problem when attempting to tank Turn 1 and 2 of Coil. I do not expect to down turn 4 as WAR due to gear problems, but I see no problems with Turn 1-3. I can go on and on about the reason I think WAR is getting hate is because alot of people are playing them incorrectly (blowing all their wrath, etc).

I play the entire game.

Question. Who would fall under the "Elitist" category in your sense of the word? I really dislike when people throw that term around in an MMO situation.

I'm decently geared, on Coil turn 5, I want to run with properly geared people in dungeons, I want people to know what they're doing in raid situations. But, I am also not a dick to people. Does that make me an Elitist?
