If you want to watch the cutscenes, and you let someone else tell you that you can't because they are concerned about the extra 2.5 minutes your cutscenes will cost them, it's your own fault. Even worse that it's an internet group that, at worst, can spam your party chat with their rage/tears at you actually playing the game the way it was intended. If that really bothers you, you can click the tabs below the chat window and hide their tantrum entirely.

The people demanding folks skip cutscenes for their "speed runs" are children, and need to be treated as such. They don't yet understand the concepts of sharing or that the world doesn't revolve around them, and if someone doesn't start teaching them, then it is a guarantee they never will learn. Would you give in to a child's demand for candy if they put their foot down and loudly screamed they want it? No, of course not. So I don't suggested treating these children any differently.

100% agree. Majority rule can bend over and stick their head 'where the sun don't shine' if that majority is bullying some newbie into spoiling the storyline for their own selfishness and the gain of a whopping 2.5 minutes of the run (at the longest. Less than 1 total minute for most runs).

Actually, it is rather rude. First time is always a story experience for a lot of players, and to ask them to skip the cut scene because you or a couple of other people are impatient is rude. To tell them they shouldn't get to enjoy the game how they want because you need it done quick is rude.

Or... you can get off your highhorse and let people do as the game intended and stay immersed. This isnt metroidfinal fantasy. Either shout in mor (as the op kindly let you know you could do), or put up with it. Period. The devs wouldn't have made it to where you can watch cutscenes first if they hadn't intended it that way.

Not really. We'll watch cutscenes and, at best, you can rage quit the group with tears in your eyes and spam party chat as you throw a tantrum. You literally have NO other recourse.

I'll just add to this that if anyone gives you too much grief about it, report them for harassment. I can guarantee you, SE's employees will take this sort of toxic behavior as kindly as the rest of us on forums.

I'm sorry many of you disagree with me. I understand a lot of you wish to view the cutscenes during your first play-through, and don't care if others in group wish to continue and skip through. It's your right to view them, since you paid the $30, just like everyone else in group.

That being said.. I'd highly suggest finishing the game before the kick feature is added.

I must admit, I cannot get my head around these ...people who expect people to skip cut scenes in duty finder. To reiterate what a lot of people have already said - make your own group, don't expect someone else to have their experienced ruined because you are incapable of making a group from your server.
I guess I must have been lucky when I ran this first, the experienced people, I think there was two or three, were quite happy to let everyone watch the cut scenes.

If someone gets told not to watch CS when using the DF I will tell them to do it. If they feel forced to skip anyway I will make sure to watch every CS myself.
