I bought gold in mmo's years ago because I was new to them and I thought it was a legit way to do it. Not like I read terms of service and I wanted to be useful to other players fast since I was behind everyone and wanted to be caught up in the game. There is no legit reason for why I did it of course cause it was still wrong but after being punished and losing my account. I found that it was a good thing that they suspended me and banned the account. I was glad they punished me and taught me a lesson cause I was practically abusing the system. I just agree that others should have to be punished also instead of abusing the system and play the game as it is meant to be played.

Ignorance is not an excuse, you would have known it was breaking the rules.

It would be nice if MMO company's passed info on proven RMT'ers to other games, so that if a player if banned from one, they would be banned from all.

I agree all gil buyers should be banned for good, but I do with they would hurry up with their "investigations" and un-suspend those who have been playing fairly.

Well in the past RMT was actually more or less treated like a buisness.

Nowadays, RMT is sites that keylog your account but sell you the gil/gold etc to get your money, then steal your account after keylogging you to get their gold/gil back.

If your playing a game and decide to buy in game currency through a totoally separate website, I'm pretty sure you knew this was actually wrong and cheating.

Nobody's perfect and I'm pleased your anti-RMT now, but just because you were rightfully banned before, does not mean that nobody has been wrongfully suspended now.

The thing is a lot of people know it's unfair to buy gil, but don't realise just how bad and corrupt the whole RMT system is and how adversely it effects others players and the game itself.
