It slows the run down for your benefit and no one else's. You can argue that the time difference is insignificant, but that's subjective. The principle is you're choosing to sacrifice other people's time for your own gain.

Almost died laughing at this. Really? 8 Strength is the difference between my Darklight chest and my SB fodder chest. works out to be 4 points off each punch. We're measuring your 'inconvenience' and 'sacrifice' in seconds off the run.

Go on then, explain to me just how exactly I'm 'sacrificing' your time for my own sake.

I have no issue with people leaving because they don't like the look of the group they landed with. In some cases, it could well be some very undergeared people trying to weasel their way in.
I just take issue with people declaring that players who Soulbind gear for Materia in dungeons, to make some Gil are somehow being selfish or negatively affecting the group.

Well, just before i had a tank in full white gear tried to run castrum with us. He had no way of being able to hold agro, without having people hold back on dps. We called him out at the entrance, he then tried to train us with mobs failed and realise agro only activates if you engage mobs.
