Try shouting on your server for some people. Should get at least one person willing to help out, if not a person who has done it, then at least one or two that will stick it out with you even if you wipe. When I did it my first try with all new people, we wiped probably 15 times, went through two dd players that had to drop because of w/e. Just ran it yesterday for two of my fellow FC members and nailed it second try. Just have to find the group that works for you. And I agree with another poster, FC member that refuse to help you out is kinda crappy :T

I can attest to the lag issues in titan, both story mode and hard mode. For some reason, this fight just lags like hell. I can usually get out of the way on most other dungeons and fights, but Titan is an unforgiving bitch of a fight. Some people don't have any problems, but holy crap I do. I live in the middle of nowhere, and we don't even have comcast out here. I have to make due with a small local company for internet and it isn't the most reliable or fast connection out there. I was finally able to beat the fight after leveling up Archer. That way I could be constantly moving and still doing just as much damage. I found that if you constantly move you have less chance of being hit, and more chance of being able to dodge when you see a landslide on its way. Also, are your DDs using their Limit Break? Should save the first one for the heart, but afterward, spam it if you've got it, get that sucker dead ASAP. Also, before the fight begins, make sure everyone know what to do. I remember my first time, went in with 3 other people on their first time, and boy did it get messy. Even one person not knowing that the red around the edge means you fall to your death and you basically have to wipe and start over.

One tip I read somewhere is if you use a skill or cast something (even if you interrupt it) the instant you move outside of an AOE or landslide, it updates your position on the server. If you don't use a skill or cast something, there's a 0.3 second position delay so you may still get hit even if you move outside the area.

Story mode titan is "easy" but only if you don't get hit with lag and have a good group. I wiped so so many times on him, mostly due to lag and flying off the platform. Only time we beat him was a day where i had no lag at all, our two dps got one shotted after the heart phase though, so the tank and i had to wittle down the remaining 25% of his hp, was a bit nerve wrecking whenever i got caught in a rock and the tank fought to get me out, having my cures ready for the moment i got free.

I'm dreading HM titan, mostly cause of the lag fest and also people's gear requirements...

I was told to do this during a brayflox run for a friend when we were getting s0'd and I kept eating the breath attack, didn't seem to work. Then again maybe i just wasn't quick enough.

How did you get passed him?

I've been trying since level 34, doesn't work.

I'm level 50 now.. And since 34, every 2 levels I've tried it for a few good hours to beat him using Duty Finder.

At this point, I think it can't be done.

Anyways.. Now I'm 50... And I can't really do anything.

I've tried asking my FC, but they don't talk.. So.. Nothing there. I asked in chat a few times and everyone wanted tens of thousands to help me.. I don't even got a single ten thousand.. Let alone multiple..

So.. Yeah. I just wanted to say it.

I'mma go cry like a b**** now.

If you were on my server, would have helped you in a heartbeat. ^_^ but good luck on killing it! Got mine done and helping others to them as well.

Something that might help is to make sure people watch Titan instead of only looking out for the landslide marks on the floor. He very visibly turns around before the marks appear which gives you a moment to know that the landslides are coming and maybe give you enough time to start strafing and get out of it if you are lagging. Also, you know someone is getting jailed because he will clap his hands.

That was my advice when tanking. I have solid hate so if you see Titan start to turn it's Landslide, move.
Also on the Gaol, as he claps a yellow circle appears under the target so you already know who's getting hit with it.
