At the end of the day, Titan is the final step to obtain a purple ilvl80 weapon.

If your gear is averaging ilvl60 or lower, you're getting carried.

At least try to be averaging ilvl65. That's more than enough to be useful and not that hard to get. That basically comes down to being in full AK gear (green ilvl60) with your Ifrit or Garuda weapon, and a couple of pieces of DL.

Of course, averaging ilvl70 is preferable, since the content immediatly after Titan (Binding Coil) requires that ANYWAY. So why not make your life, and everyone else's, easier by not asking to be carried through content?
