Really, I've had enough of those noobs.
People saying that I need full DL or lv70 gear to beat primals HM are just noobs that don't know how to play and flame about 3 or 4 stats points.
People said to me that I needed full DL to beat Titan when I had beaten Garuda HM while having a single DL piece, a CNJ wand lv49, the Healer's Robe lv50 and all the rest below lv45, earrings and choker lv28.
With this gear I KO'd Garuda HM without Mage's Ballad, without going under 90% MP while raising 5 times THE OTHER WHM.
It happened because the party was good.
I admit that Titan is more difficult, but it still doesn't need full DL gear.
But still I haven't got my chunk of hyperfused ore because nobody is capable of beating him, the other whm/sch dies dds don't deal enough damage, the tank doesn't aggro well...
I wish I could find someone good in that crazy Navel.

What is the point of this post?

DL gear certainly helps, so those that are asking for it generally are (like you) sick and tired of having bad groups and want a group of at least geared people rather than risking ungeared AND unskilled players.

Any tank who fails to hold titans aggro is officially a terrible player.

Tank has an extremely easy job on titan... patheticly so.

And yes TC, gear isnt a huge factor in the fight, competent people who can dodge all his stuff (almost everything he does is avoidable) is whats required.

Fortunately ive never had this problem as i dont pug him, you should find a good FC.

PS - sick of tanks acting like they have the hard job, I have a 50 paladin and its a mind numblingly easy class to play until atleast turn 2 of coils.

1. If DPS is stupid and frontloads, your tank is screwed. Give your tank a single rotation at least. THEN you're gold.
2. If your white mage frontloads, your tank is also screwed. Overhealing (healing while at full HP) causes aggro. This includes heals over time. Any tank who has tried to pull a mob, or boss, just as the white mage casts Medica II knows EXACTLY what this is like. It is horrible, and it is almost impossible to recover from that aggro yank until the Medica II expires even with Provoke.

So yes, it is possible that a BAD GROUP, or at least one bad person, can cause your tank to lose aggro on Titan, or any other mob or boss for that matter. Contrary to popular belief tanks do not have a button they can press to generate infinite aggro.

ahh this guy made me laugh so hard weird that he dont have relic on his tank seeing as how "its so easy" he obviously has no idea about over heals and the MASS amounts of group heals used. Also you realise that healers get a skill to erase their aggro... wanna know why they have that.... cause they are so easily able to yank aggro from tanks. please think before posting again k thanks

For your information, I have never used Shroud of Saints against Titan, it's not needed. Use Medica only after jumping attack, don't use Regen and don't overheal. No lv50 whm would overheal.
And now shut up and aggro, it's not that difficult. Shroud of Saints is used only when the tank is terrible and lets Titan go to the healer.
Don't think healers are all idiots, we know our job and how to minimize enmity far better than you do.
And, last but not least, READ THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS, you are just writing things that I explained clearly already.

I believe i explained my statement in a later post, I no longer play paladin at all because its a boring class.

And what i said was, as long as the team isnt rediculosuly getting hit all the time by aoe's aggro is not a problem, you cant blame tank if a healer is forced to heal way more than they should. You really need to stop getting upset.

And i dont know where the relic comments from, getting a relic weapon is very very easy because i dont pug. I just have no reason to get it on anything other than my main class. And all this dosnt change the fact tanks have the easy jobs up until atleast coils turn 2.

Warrior might be harder.... i have no experience with them, but paladin sure as hell is a joke easy class.

OP you never seen the final phase I assume if so you will know why they want full DL after my first time getting him down past 30% I went and got full DL on my own before retrying. And titanHM is a whole different world than the other hard modes I assure you.
