It's not like you can get tomes from dungeons as early as Dzemael Darkhold, up through Aurum Vale, Wanderer's Palace, Castrum Meridianum, Amdapor Keep and Praetorium or anything.

The above quote is a symptom of what I call "World of Warcraft Syndrome". You want to jump into raids, but don't want to work to get the gear you need in order to raid. It's also called "laziness" and "entitlement".

Also, I would estimate 90% of the MMO playerbase "work for a living" and "can't play 24/7". That's simply no excuse.

Just don't do it anymore. I'm more than geared enough up to Titan at least, and I only have a few DL pieces (never farmed castrum once, did it for story and once more for a friend). Run AV, DD or TWP with friends to break the pace, or level another job up and do any dungeon you haven't yet.

EDIT: We all know that feel about the stupid gear grind, even the ones that would say 'can i have yur stuff?' It was a pretty bad decision on SE's part imo, I hate how no gear in this game requires much skill to obtain, other than relics, and carries can be bought for those, unfortunately. Hopefully a slew of new dungeons will keep us occupied come 2.1 patch.

Are you defending the tomestone mechanic? Its reallllly awful though... OP isn't asking for gear to be handed to you, you know.

more story contents? even harry potter took a few years per book.

i'm not tryibg to discredit you, but it is not true that everyone everyone is entitled to his/her opinion; you are only entitled to opinions you could defend. is there anything you could suggest in lieu of the current 'problem'?
i think just more dungeons and ways to obtain loot, nit askign foir hand out either they could be super hard but i just need more fun ways to gear up, doign a story mode dungeon with no loot is just not fun after 30th time

so you think doing castrum over and over is hard work? haha tahst called" i played wow and want everythign easy"

id much rather have some super hard dungeons that drop loot then castrum, but then i dont play wow, your obviosuly fine with farming castrum over and over easy mode just liek wow

Its also called "no skill required" "evryone can get geared regardless of skill" oh wait what game does that sound like?

Either you're a troll, or you just have the reading comprehension of one. All you're reading is "I have a job" and when you look at 'I don't like to grind Castrum', you're somehow reading that as 'I don't like to grind.' Nowhere in the OP is it even implied that he wants gear handed to him.

If I say I don't like to eat bananas for every meal, that doesn't mean I don't like to eat and want my nutrients to be automatically supplied from within my body. It means I want more variety in what I have to eat than just bananas.

Dear Twelve, I'm using bananas to try and explain something...

Interesting. At no point did I ever say it's "hard work". It's tedious, sure, but tedium is how MMO's continue to exist. Otherwise, everyone would be finished with end-game content already and be bitching that there's nothing left to do (as is the case in those games that do not gate the gear treadmill as this one does).
