About the upcoming MVP

I don't see why some people are complaining about this upcoming feat. Even if people aren't genuinely nice, it is giving them a reason to not be obnoxious or "troll" in a duty. You can be rewarded for being nice or pretending to be nice, and in the end this will cause more communication without conflict which will overall decrease chances of wipes and leavers.

Also, people who hit level 50 would have a reason to revisit lower leveled dungeons/ helping players. I think this will allow lowbies to get through content without waiting for crazy queue timers because most players are already at endgame. This could be abused by just spamming Sastasha, but including a diminishing return (only getting a rating from the same dungeon twice a day) would fix that. Level 50's should be recognized once they enter the dungeon as a level 50 character, so that party members can say "Wow, this person is level 50 and revisiting here to help me? Here, take my up vote."

So in the end, I think this might be a great system if implemented in this way.

I'm willing to bet that a lot of these points will either go to tanks and/or healers because playing as a DD is a thankless role. If you play well no one says anything, and if you screw up even a little bit you get barraged with insults like there's no tomorrow.

Not that I particularly care, since I main a tank class.

Not sure about you guys but, I am torn.

1 side its a cool idea. Awarding ppl for being cool and stuff.

The other, well, kinda sad that the current world we live in, need incentives for ppl be cool and nice. Whatever happened to "comes from the heart". Guess I am getting too old for this.

Are you serious? Everytime I ran an instance via story or gear grind, 90% of the items that dropped were tank related. Tanks dont need anymore incentive pls X_x

That's not true at all. I've gotten plenty of compliments. Parties notice when everything is twice as fast or twice as slow, and its because of good or bad DPS. And tanks and healers get just as many barrages of insults, I'd say more, because so much depends on them.
