Summoner Question: Where should I spend my Myth tomes first?

So I finally completed my Darklight set, and got my relic weapon, and now I'm not sure what I should do next! My immediate thought was "+1 my relic of course!" But I don't know if that is where I should invest my tomes.

Other Summoners, whats the most optimal thing to do next? Should I +1 my relic? Or should I put my tomes towards getting my next AF set instead?

I made the mistake of spending Myth tomes before it was known to be needed to get the relic+1, and then I got my AF2 hat because I needed the accuracy(when I could have just used food, ugh).

Now I have this week, and then next week I can get my relic +1.

I regret spending my tomes.

Haha no, I have no intentions of taking on BC till my FC is well caught up and ready for a full in-house run. ^^

And thank you for the advice! I'm only about 150 tomes away from +1 on my relic, and I wanted to make sure it was the optimal thing to do before sinking those tomes on it. ^^

As a BLM, may or may not apply to SMN:

Relic+1 > accessories > pants. Hopefully by the time all those are gotten I will have filled in the other pieces with Allagan equips.

Yep, definitely get your +1 relic. I've done a little research and everyone says to go +1 as it will, as Kevee said, will last you longer, and appears to be a better/if not comparable upgrade stat-wise.

As a dps class Relic +1>AF2 chest. Unless you know you'll get the chest off the first two bosses.

If you can afford it, the HQ Vanya Caster chest + head is a significant upgrade in both DPS and whatever you choose to meld on it.
