In Turn 2 of coil, 1 path gives piercing resistance to the boss, the other path gives constant aoe dmg around the boss which would need to be healed so melee's are generally not used. You would not go drg.

Because in every mmo I've played, I've been a healer. I enjoy healing. I have no interest in dps.
So please, tell me again how I'll be excluded for not having another role at level 50.

Apart from stoneskin and swiftcast, I don't need to level for anything. And those two skills are gained long before 50 on their respective classes.
