hmmmm, interesting opinion. Not sure I agree, but then again I do coil and primals and I would have to say... I much more enjoy getting the whole community better than selecting only a few and forgetting about the rest. I understand your frustration, where you ask for one thing, but honestly... you are asking for skill... and some players actually DO think they are skilled. It is, at this point, most likely best for you to teach these people about skill rather than abandon them...

An MMO is about the community, not how awesome you and your linkshell is. Once you get coil down, it can happen in < 1 night... and primals... who cares? you can max your Myth in <4 hours... in literally 1 day you have finished a whole week's worth of content and have to wait for the next week to start.... point being... Play for people and to have fun... not just so you get gear. And 3 classes to 50? No... and even higher than 15 depends on the class you are playing (this does not help your argument, nor make you look like you know what you are talking about - if I were you I would probably edit that out of the post.)

This... mindset I can't help but feel hurts the community more then it helps it. Refusing to take players on runs that they need isn't helping them learn fights and things they need to learn. I understand the demand for proper gear, but often times it seems people blow the requirements far out of proportion. Fine, you want to run a strict FC that has all these rules, whatever. That's between you and your FC. But if you're shouting for people to help out and people need to get things done, I really feel you should take them along or at least politely let them know how they need to gear up before they can do it. I think requiring 3 50s is borderline absurd.

I'm so glad I found a kick ass Free Company that isn't full of players with this mindset. People that treat these games like a second job are pathetic quite frankly.

Leveling up your support and tertiary classes high enough for their useful skills? Yeah I agree, this is a must. Leveling them up to 50 though..? Uh, why? Mind you I personally intend to level everything to 50 sooner or later, but.. this just seems so horribly unnecessary. A restriction like that is honestly doing more harm than good for your filter.

Because you server virtually no purpose, you might be the best 1 trick pony on the planet, but I would take someone who can play any job over you, because content takes different setups. The different coil turns have different optimal setups, if you play drg, you are SoL and not going as drg.

So wrong, how people chose to use their free time is up to them. Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted. What is the point in life? To me everything I do in life is so I can allow myself to have fun. I work so that I may have free time and have some fun. If I choose to use that time to play a game I want to get the max out of it and not have others waste my time. Which is why people like me might get mad if I'm ready for something and their not but they went anyways.

I haven't even tried Titan HM yet, because I will be main tanking it and feel I'm not ready and don't want to be carried or have my hand held. I leveled warrior to 50 and my pld is 44 atm. Taking both to 50 and getting relics on both for I even attempt to do Coil. Once I've got both to 50 and both on Titan (need pld to catch up) I'll spend hours watching videos and crap the FC and go do Titan HM and attune to coil.

By that logic, anyone wishing to level a dragoon in anything past Titan HM can never do so because it might not be "optimal".

It actually does, if all you want to play is one class.... Going beyond that is really like leveling alts in a different game. Was different in 1.0 where you had to have more than one class for those retarded speed runs and switching inside the dungeon, but all that is over.
