Do you seriously believe that? Where's your source? Other than sob stories on the forums that no one can verify?

Since SE have been silent, I'd sooner believe the disgruntled public than a company that can't even publicly address ANYTHING other than more Promotions.

Playerbase: Why are you banning people left right and center in game and forums, with little to no communication to the party involved or the rest of your playerbase?! Mass bannings usually goes hand in hand with some sort of Press Release!

Seriously tho, it's happened to a fair number of people, and yet someone who lost there account 3+ Weeks ago (Granted to a keylogger is their own stupidity admitted by them) who is still without any feedback from SE at all, and going by forums hes not alone, so yea...I'm more inclined to believe someone who can type a few coherrent sentences than someone who addresses the issues with Tumbleweeds and Silence!

If what you said is true, then you got banned after getting hacked. As I said, your password is your own responsibility, not anyone else's. The only people to blame here is the hackers, and yourself. Did you use a token?

Really? Was this the ARR CE, or the old fashioned 1.0 one, cuz with my 1.0 CE I recieved a Standalone token. I thought the ARR CE Came with a Standalone token too...

If you looked at the screenshots of some of these people, they did receive an email from SE that explained the reason they were banned - RMT activity for example. The special task force has all the chat and activity logs, which is how they identify RMTs in the first place. However, they can't very well post all those logs for every indivudal player complaining in the public forum here now, can they?

Tell me, why do you think SE want to ban innocent paying customers willy-nilly? Perhaps you think they don't care about money?

OK heres the thing, the STFU (Special Task Force Unit) originated in FFXI eventually dropping the U for quite obvious reasons lol.

I'm going to assume the STF is running on a similar if not the same outlines as the FFXI team, if infact they aint the same team. So that would have led me to believe they would also provide the general playerbase with information shortly after the mass bannings as to what they was doing, who/what (Not named but as a general "25% Bannings was people botting, 30% Gilselling" etc), to keep everyone else informed. As really when you are paying for a service, the service provider is usually quite keen to keep you in the know...
But we are getting Silence, and more silence, so then the disgruntled start to form Lynch mobs, it's always a lot more easier for the general public to listen and believe those who address/speak to them than those who ignore everything...Right now since the 50-100 People Claiming innocence are more forthcoming, more spoken, more friendly than the Ignorance and silence SE and the STF are throwing our way, I find it much easier to believe those justifying their cause. Whether I believe it or not, I'm going to back said innocent bannings just out of the fact Silence in this day and age is bullshit!

Just be patient. I agree with you that they need to make some kind of announcement about this, and I think they will. Give it time. The bannings only happened starting a few days ago, I'm sure they will announce something soon, like how they did in FFXI.
