SE should do what blizzard and Trion did and force everyone to use it, that way there will be a lot less hackings going on.

Assuming you get your account back I suggest you to download the security app or purchase a token, before you end up with your account being hacked as well.

Haha you truly are clueless, the last 4 days people have been banned for doing nothing but crafting and selling items....it seems ANYONE who sold something to a gilbuyer regardless whether they knew or not got banned also...

You go into a shop and buy something with money you earned selling stolen goods for example, should the shop keeper also go to prison for selling you that chocolate bar and can of coke?!

Then I get email from myself 30min later with a bunch of lletters saying f gf jdhchfh ff14 dn dhfbchf ffxi im like o god I call my wife up to leave me logged in came home1hr later and activate token asap

People do not just get hacked out of the blue. Usually, even if the computer had a keylogger, it is more likely a keylogger for credit card info, rather than a specific keylogger for FFXIV. However, you could get a keylogger specific for FFXIV if you downloaded anything related to FFXIV from an unofficial site. For example, the benchmark programme from torrents. Visiting RMT sites has a good chance of netting you a drive-by download of keyloggers, if your computer security is not up to date. They probably records your IP address etc if you visit them.
Besides keyloggers, registering in fan made FFXIV related sites with the same username and password as the game can get you hacked easily. Often the site owners don't even know their site has been compromised, while hackers collect everyone's login details quietly.
So be smart, because you only have yourself to blame if you didn't protect yourself. Didn't use a token? I find it hard to sympathesise then.
