Anyway, you shouldn't really need a token if S-E just had decent security.

You should be able to bind it to specific country, or specific IP adress like ???.???.*.*, have the 2 last once there as most have dynamic adresses. That would stop over 90% of hacked accounts I think.

It's not about SE security, its about users security, a lot of people visit dodgy websites unsuspectingly installing keyloggers on to their computer.

Also many people have dynamic IP addresses which are changing all the time, you can't lock these people to that kind of system or you would never be able to log in.

so... explain to me , i visit tons of porn and dodgy site and i have no token register and never got hack but my gf never visit any of those just to play FF and how she get hack? we both install webroot anti virus

This is my last post on the matter, I am wasting my post count.

I have played FFXI and WoW for year amongst many other MMO's, I have been hacked once in FFXI afterwhich I bought a token which I still use for FFXIV and haven't been hacked since, I have been hacked in WoW multiple times until I finally decided to buy a token for that... guess what I haven't been hacked.

I never got hacked in Diablo III either because I already had a security token.

You do the math and figure it out.

0 hack history playing lineage 2 , diablo 3 , wow , aion , guildwars , guildwars 2 and other crap free to play (also tons of dodgy count of website)

Did you actually read what I wrote? Dynamic IP never change the entire number, it can only change between those numbers that an operator have registered. Hence why I had those 2 last once as any. Or able to chose by country.

Also, I never said it was mandatory, I said you should be able to, not forced to.

Ohh, you mean to say that banks security are 100%? Have you been reading/watching news the last few years?

Not sure how it's with bank tokens nowdays, but anyway, people are still getting their accounts emptied. So no, banks are not 100% safe, nothing is.
