Don't call PLD's easy.
It makes you all look jealous of them.

Yeah sure, they're going to design PvP skill or revamp PvE skill into PvP one, but just to leave them just as they are right now. You're crying for nothing. PLD may be trash or extremely OP in PvP, no one knows right now, we'll have to wait, and it's the same thing for every single job.Does that mean additional skills *for* PvP , and/or skills having a different version for PvP? If they're being split how far are they willing to differentiate a skill between pvp and pve versions. If they don't want things to be significantly different for similarities sake then it would still matter.
Da hell. Like, PLD is hard ?Don't call PLD's easy.

I'm not saying WAR is hard either uh, it's ridiculously easy aswell so I'm always having a good laugh when people talk about skill being required to play job X or Y or.. but hum... If it's even possible, PLD is even easier, y'know.

The problem is that skill will b overlooked because of the preconceived notion of the job being broken
Lol, I didn't even bother reading your sig. Great point. Either way...I've followed your posts for a long time now. You've helped me be a better tank in the end so I look forward to following your contributions here as well.
Now if only KeyboardNinja would show up...

Depending on the context. If there's a capture the flag game PLD and MNK will be the two best candidates for flag carrier. PLD also offers a lot of control with a stun that can be spammed, not to mention Cover, which makes them pretty good assisting. Depending on how the damage transfer from Cover works, you could also be in a situation where the enemy team may try to CC (Sleep) you but you cover a teammate so that then the enemy team tries to attack the covered team make it breaks your CC because damage taken breaks Sleep.
The only thing they lack is mobility (as always, shame we don't have a copy-paste of Charge).
PS: On PLD healing - if people are stupid enough to ignore a PLD in PvP this also means you're giving the PLD the opportunity to heal other players on their team. Small potatoes but an extra sliver of health can make the difference in a PvP setting. The value of PLD is not in self heals but their ability to heal other people.

* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
