Well since SE wont address this issue thought i would do it for them.
If this impacts the sale of the PS3 version of the game... maybe they will do something about it.
For God Sake.. why put this game out on the PS3 if you knew this would happen.

yes, same issue on Malboro too, its ridiculous that it takes 1000 or so people death zerging to down him and then everyone gets bronze at the end.. its retarded, sorry SE but you need to fix this please!
I hate running across an entire zone to join a FATE just to stand there watching people fight air. Or loose chocobo companions that belong to PCs, running around and warking at invisible monsters. I can't gain EXP if I can't load the models in time because of terrible prioritizing.
I hate doing a FATE, only to not be able to do it because the monster never appears until right at the end when everyone kills it. The MOB should be top priority on the list, with everything else falling second to it.
I have however noticed, that by turning down the visibility of other PC's skill effects helps out a bit(I image if i turned off the ability to see other PC's skill effects altogether it would improve things even more).
THIS! For crying out loud Squeenix fix it! Its bad enough that the fates are mostly such a huge joke to do that it takes a the mind of a braindead monkey to do them, but to not be able to do them at all because of load issues just adds insult to injury. Address this issue and fix it ASAP!
Do these threads ever get an official response ?
I have to admit that current state of Bahemoth or Odin or maybe other major FATE boss fight is pretty useless to try them at the moment. In the first day of the game i did Bahemoth with any issue since almost no one knew about him. Only a bunch of people there. Days or a week later start getting worse and now is like how everyone knows.
SE should have made a priority like in 1.0. Best example was we were in Ul'dah city and make a party, even if that player was at limit of area of vision he was always visible even if we couldn't see any other player. And the same would happen with the NM roaming around or anything.
Now what I see is they make a area around you and that load that number until fill all, ignoring your party members and enemy and NPCS so you can me at 0m and be glued to the boss and still not being able to see it because of the excessive number of players in that area.
They need to put a priority to load or what is always visible like other said: party > enemy > npcs > other players.
But this doesn't happen only in FATEs. When you are in some camp and need to do some quest inside like to try find some NPC they wont be even be visible in the map unless you get super close to them and see the quest marker.
I really hope the patch 2.1 fix this though along with the new content they will introduce.

Well the Odin fate just crashed a lot of people on Ragnarok....hell it looks like the whole world is down infact, this has nothing to do with Ps3, Pc doesn't do it any better. Not untill SE gets their shit together....we'll all be waiting a while then
This shouldnt even be a fate, this should be a DF fight at least...
