that's what happens when people use bad parser and are kinda of morons
Dps rankings are something completely idiotic. Sure there SHOULD be a threeshold that you NEED to reach, but it's a RANKING it's obvious that someone is gonna be first and someone is gonna be last. Also it depends on the boss obviously :\

All I know as blm I usually out damage every other class except for bard, doing AK with 2 BLMs even without DL and relic just melt the bosses.
In many cases I find myself holding back otherwise I end up being the tank.
The big issue though is the end game content where you are constantly moving and having to interrupt your rotation, so I imagine for fights like Garuda and Titan BLM DPS is not that special, especially when compared to BRD.
Agree with you about using bad parsers, right now there is no way to measure dots for example.that's what happens when people use bad parser and are kinda of morons

Yes there will always be a top DPS and bottom DPS score but generally people use them to see who isn't pulling their weight, if there is more than 50% difference between the top and the bottom then either the bottom was dead for too much of the fight or just isn't up to scratch.

Parsers use the log to calculate the damage. If you're standing too far from the person using the parser, you won't show up in their log so to them it'll look like you're not doing damage even if you're doing more DPS than anyone else.
One thing you could do is, if you know someone's using a parser, stand closer to them. Kinda silly but, if these clueless clowns keep booting people based on their parsers, that may save you a kick.
its prolly cuz ur the worst blm ever who doesnt know how to properly do the rotation.
STOP SPREADING RUMORS DUDE. No way to measure Dot DPS.... welcome to 4 weeks agoAll I know as blm I usually out damage every other class except for bard, doing AK with 2 BLMs even without DL and relic just melt the bosses.

This has most likely already been said by now, but I'll go ahead and repeat it just in case.
BLM has one of the best DPS in game when played correctly (according to the parser).
Sure, they'll suffer in certain fights where they have to move a lot (Demon Wall in AK, Titan HM), but they can still deal a good amount of damage during these fights anyway if the player is good.
To the person above me, the parser do pick up on DoT DPS, but only if the DoT have initial damage when casted.
BLM dps is low, if they don't know their rotation or they mess it up. As someone else has said it is the easiest dps to play poorly, for that factor alone. Not to mention there are a lot of mechanics in boss fights that don't let BLMs just sit and turret damage, but force them to be mobile and moving which again hurts their dps. It is not necessarily the class itself, but the environment it is in that makes it suffer. I am sure that every class can succeed if put into the right hands and the right circumstances.
