Blackmages dps? Being booted from parties.

I been in a few pugs now in the last few days where the leader is booting blm's because they say our parse is too low? why is this, is there any truth to this dps parse thing going around?

I have full darklight and a +1 relic, and these people who use parsers are saying my dps is at the very bottom below those who have AK and crafted gear.

Is blm dps really that low?

wth are you talking about? BLMS AND BARDS are the most sought after dps in CM and coils :/


He's probably scared that you can't handle your threat meter. Usually the number 1 problem of BLMs is that they always get aggro if they are not careful

this has happend more then just one party and more then one leader... idk why.

And every other blm also in parties are experiencing the same thing, all showing up as last place and booted or told to up our dps.

I was doing titan last week also and someone booted both of us blm, full darklight, guaruda weapons and knew how to dodge the fight. Atleast three times this week its happend in CM also.

Looks like a BLM trying to protect his overpowered class by making up fake stories of geting booted for low dps, BLM and Bard are by far the easiest dps to play and also the highest dps, which makes no sense since Monk is only equal if played perfectly and the boss doesnt ever cast aoe...which is none of them

Dps rankings are something completely idiotic. Sure there SHOULD be a threeshold that you NEED to reach, but it's a RANKING it's obvious that someone is gonna be first and someone is gonna be last. Also it depends on the boss obviously :\

in ffxi it was bannable to use a 3rd party app, for anything in FFXI, is it the same in XIV? I know a lot of people are calling it an app, but it is a 3rd party software tool, and i almost used it until I discovered that. Is it not bannable to use the parse tool?

Makes you wonder if the parser, which isn't technically legit, is correctly evaluating damage from all classes appropriately. Makes you also wonder whether people using this thing to evaluate damage is forcing them to incorrectly arrange parties. I should think waiting for the add-on tools to be made available by SE and making a "parser" or meter out of that would be more appropriate.

it is believed that the log just clumps things together so its not the parsers fault. But the parser does show random shit sometimes like internal release doing dammage even tho its a crit cooldown. Its defintley not accurate just a base line tool. But i've seen a blm in shitty gear parse at 200+ all the way through ak, alot of blms just dont know the optimal rotation, its same thing with people that play other classes.
