Implement it! If something small like auto sort is done, please don't wait for a content patch to put it in. Put it in as you complete the small thing! Especially when they should have been in the game the first place.

Didn't they say in the producer letter a bit back that there's some sort of flaw in the architecture that prevents them from doing elegant, single-feature implementations, and that patch 2.1 is updating stuff server side to allow them to do just that in the future?

As it is right now, my understanding was that to add anything that isn't just an adjustment, they have to shut off the servers and do a full maintenance cycle no matter how small the addition.

Yoshi said that they don't have an auto-sort function because they want to save server resources. And if that is the case, they could just add something client side that only show it organized.
