Anyone who thinks "X" MMORPG's community is better or worse than "Y" MMORPG's community is delusional. They are all the same.

I was a pretty successful PVPer in WoW, and I have to say, in general, a game with PVP, have much worse communities. A PVE focused MMO will always have a friendlier community.
There is a huge difference between nerd raging in arena, or 10 people in your battlleground botting, vs people buying houses to decorate and playing it like farmville or animal crossing. It attracts different people.
Now people just nerdrage in dungeons, it really is the same tbh.I was a pretty successful PVPer in WoW, and I have to say, in general, a game with PVP, have much worse communities. A PVE focused MMO will always have a friendlier community.

I honestly noticed that the leveling community is pretty good, but at level 50 it really goes downhill FAST.

i can't wait in 3 month where most of the "locust" will have leave for other game... *sighs*

One of the worst, definitely. For all the negative comments about WoW, I never encountered half the bitterness there I do here. A good example is those people who were caught by S-E's blanket ban. What's with all the comments and upvotes about how they HAD to have been legitimately cheating, and moreover, are a bunch of filthy liars for suggesting otherwise. Whatever happened to a) using your brain or b) empathy? Oh, I forgot - that's a WoW thing.
That said, I love my FC.
If you had to choose between a million dollars and saving your best friend...what would be the first thing you'd buy?

I personally haven seen any of the problems with a bad community. I've seen a handful of bad comments from players but nothing that would make me call this the worst MMO community.
My experience is that this is far and away the worst community I have ever had the displeasure of gaming with.
I love the game, however and plan to play solo unless forced to group for the story. I foresee getting to 50 (eventually) with more than half of my personal story and dependent content unavailable to me.
I have accepted this arrangement and play Vanguard when I feel like tackling challenging content with like-minded folks.

I think it's mostly an unfortunate case of the bad apples stand out from the genuinely nice people. Sad but true. That and I seem to attract these kinds of people into Pratically every DF party ever, I have some really cracking one liners from elitis kiddies that I wish I had screenshot but I only just found out the ps3 SS button. One of my best ones goes a but like this "Omfg you noob! Your stupid ifrit is messing with agro use Titan instead! Ffs noob". Ah, needless to say I will forever remember these people over the really nice ones.

As others have stated the community is the pits, i enjoy the game but its draining fast, this forced dungeon mindset so you can enjoy the story is bad, if i could just follow the story without being forced in to Duty finder madness every day i'd be happier..
But as it stands our FC is small and i'm pushed into Pug Dungeons i don't want to do just to see the rest of the story, but having people leave every dungeon attempt over some mistakes (not even me most times) i'm considering moving on to nicer more friendlier pastures honestly..
The final fantasy community is the best i have come across, unfortunately at the moment it is mixed in with many other communities who are taking the gleam off the FF Community shine.
